HM 1800 HOD Hand Operated Bag Sealer – Hand Operated

For those applications requiring hand operation and wide opening jaws, the HM1800 series can be supplied in this HOD version. This bag sealer is fitted with a 6 mm element enabling production of a tamper-proof security coded seal, but an optional narrow element can be supplied for reduced sealing times on thicker materials, not requiring the embossed code.

Dual timer control enables both heating and cooling cycle time to be adjusted for different materials and the hold down catch (HOD) releases the operator during the 3-5 second sealing cycle, to prepare the next pack. This Impulse sealer is simple to maintain with consumable spares being easy to fit and available from stock. A code can be embossed within the welded area to make the bag tamper evident. This is commonly used by Banks,Police Forces, Ballistics and many other areas where security is essential. The Bag sealer without a code is very popular to be used along side glove boxes to seal the polythene sleeving.
